This weekend was full of exploring some family friendly attractions of Atlanta! We are always taking your recommendations we’ve gotten so far, and this was definitely awesome. It was also special, because one of my best friends came to stay with us! It’s been a good adjustment to our new home, but I miss our community most. Her visit was the perfect reason to check out World of Coke and The Varsity this weekend!
The World of Coke
I love a cold glass of Coca-Cola. There’s no sponsorship attached to that haha! So to tour and see the inner workings of how the product is made was nostalgic and pretty phenomenal. There is so much to learn about how the World of Coke functions and their strategies behind sharing the brand.
Mind you, I can barely have any coke while pregnant so I just took in the experience this time around. The boys were allowed to have their first sips of various Cola beverages and everyone felt like kings for a day. I highly encourage you to plan your trip and make it fun.

There was definitely lots to check out with a 4D theatre, interactive stations, and of course the “Taste It” area – where you can taste all the Coca-Colas in the WORLD! Also if you purchase tickets they’re good for a whole year if you can’t make your planned day (super helpful).
I was most appreciative of how stroller friendly the exhibits were (I needed to maintain sanity with our double stroller). It helped eased our way through the tour at our own pace. Everyone had a blast for sure. It was well worth the trip!
The Varsity

Chili dogs, chili burgers, onion rings, oh my! Are you hungry yet? We headed straight to The Varsity which is a diner and drive-in style local restaurant. The aroma of fried deliciousness hits you before you even come in.
I always ask what’s the best thing on the menu and the staff recommended to try what they’re known for. So Mike had a chili hamburger with onion rings and I got a chili dog with fries. The boys had cheeseburgers, cause you can’t go wrong with that. The price was really good with us spending less than $40 total.

I wasn’t super crazy about the chili dog, but their fries and onion rings were FANTASTIC! The boys completely cleared their plates and asked for more. The diner style was refreshing and fun with enough space for our big crew.

Everyone rocked their old fashioned hats and we ended our evening full and exhausted. I’m looking forward to exploring our new home much more over the weekends and even beyond that!
Hope you enjoyed some fun weekend vibes friend.
