Wait to Bloom

In a time where everything has to be instant and we’ve become so accustomed to being impatient, it’s hard to hear the words wait. During my commute to and from work I love seeing all of the trees in bloom. Today in particular I had a tiny epiphany when seeing these gorgeous flowers.
All trees and plants look the same for most of the seasons until Spring. Once Spring comes around they all bloom to their potential, because it’s the right time.

Most days I feel ordinary in everything I do. There are tons of “working moms,” small business owners, bloggers, etc and it’s easy to get “lost” among the masses. Everyone is trying to bloom or expedite the process and end up dying out fast, just like the trees that bloom prematurely because the weather seems right. But when you wait it’s that much more beautiful and satisfying. Others get to enjoy your potential and beauty through the entire season instead of just for a moment.
So whatever it is…wait to bloom friend.
