Easter Egg Roll 2018

While on maternity leave my school reached out to me with tickets to this year’s Easter Egg Roll at the White House! Regardless of how I feel about our current political state, I have to say I’m glad we went. Mind you it was quite cold and initially raining, but it did warm up towards the mid part of our stay. I have to say it was full of all things eggs haha. From eggs on a stick that you could season to egg cookie decorating and of course the Egg roll and Egg Hunt. Mike ate about half a dozen of the eggs on a stick, that was his favorite part.

The flow of activities was really well done! That was a major plus to being there, and I’m sure the fact that they only let a certain amount of people in at designated times helped as well. So the kids got to enjoy all of the activities without excessive lines! My personal favorite was seeing the characters and the sugar cookies were delicious. I think it’s a great family experience anyone should have that is local if they can.
