Graciously Woven

faith and motherhood blog graciously woven

Hey there! I’m Carmen, the author, and heart behind Graciously Woven Blog. Graciously Woven is a faith and motherhood blog that has created an incredible community of people from all walks of life. I have been married for 11 years to my best friend and husband, Mike. We have four incredible children (3 boys and a girl).
We currently live in Virginia and are three years into our homeschooling journey. You can see our day-to-day journey on Instagram!
faith and motherhood blog graciously woven

a FAITH AND MOTHERHOOD blog, but so much more

The journey of how faith and motherhood connect is vast and deep, so this blog isn’t just about those topics. Here you’ll find me sharing openly about my relationship with God and sharing my life daily and how it impacts me as a woman, how I parent, my marriage, and honestly, all aspects of life. I am BIG on celebrating the people around me – there is always room for more people at the table. I also love engaging in conversations that help me grow. With the opportunity to share my journey of faith and motherhood, this space is a gift. Since not everyone in this space thinks, acts, or talks the same, and I love it most. I am constantly learning from each of you. So whether you’re reading for the first time or several years, I love hearing your thoughts on life and every topic. I know that we grow with open minds and quality conversations.

SHARE USEFUL PRODUCTS WE LOVE

I do share products that I know fit into my life and how we function, whether locally or those that we can all access. I’ve been blogging for eight years and love the relationships it’s allowed me to have. Over the years, my family has connected with incredible companies like Young King Hair Care, Elvie, and many more! Each season of life has allowed me to discover businesses and organizations that share my values and passions. What’s most important to this community and me is ensuring that the products I share are quality and truly worth your investment.

BE A RESOURCE TO YOU IN YOUR JOURNEY

Over the years of blogging, I’ve found many great resources and begun sharing my knowledge.
Here, you can find daily tips and ways to begin your blogging journey! I believe wholeheartedly in the blogging community. I cannot tell you how many amazing friends and colleagues I’ve met along this journey.

If you’re interested in starting your blog and taking that leap, I want you to know I’m cheering you on!

It’s not just about Graciously Woven Blog, but it’s about the community that’s here! My hope for when you read, it feels like home with a cup of coffee and a breath of fresh air. My heart has always craved community and genuine relationships. So, friend, you’re essential to me, and I love listening to your thoughts, ideas, and story. It’s okay to talk about your imperfections, irritable moments, triumphs, and greatest joys – all part of this beautiful tapestry called life.

So journey with me through this organized chaos…one cup of coffee, project, and conversation at a time.

  • This time last year, the Lord started challenging the thought of pausing our homeschooling journey. Honestly… I wasn’t happy about it because it wasn’t part of my plan. Even the kids weren’t fully on board at first. 🥹

If I’m being honest, part of me felt like I was losing. Homeschooling isn’t easy, and after years of pouring into our kids, I wrestled with whether putting them in school meant I had somehow failed them.

But somehow through all the emotions, questions, and transitions, we made it through their first year in school.

And wow… proud is an understatement.

Each of them shattered every stereotype people love to place on homeschooled kids. They shined bright, made meaningful friendships, adapted with courage, and walked into new spaces fully themselves.

This year reminded me that what is poured into our kids at home goes with them wherever they go. Everything we’ve prayed over them, spoken over them, and believed about them showed up in real time.

Watching them succeed didn’t make me feel like I had failed. It reminded me that this season wasn’t the end of something. It was evidence that God had been faithful through all of it. ❤️

  • Random Friday thoughts… because I can’t shop anyone’s like it at this point 😒
  • Someone recently asked me when I realized I had experienced agape love… and honestly, my first thought was my mom and my sister.

Life has held its share of complicated chapters, and I know what it’s like to navigate distance and hard seasons. Getting older and healing has a way of adjusting the lens. Hindsight really does show you the gifts that were there all along.

This weekend we celebrated my sister’s birthday, and looking back at this photo of us as kids, I’m reminded how precious it is to grow up and realize your big sister is truly your best friend.

Some love doesn’t need to be loud to be deep. I’m really grateful. #sistersister
  • It’s been awhile since we’ve documented a good dance party while making dinner.

What’s on your family menu tonight?

Learned how to pencil fight from what appears to be a retired middle school pencil-fighting champion. His technique was oddly specific… like this man definitely had a reputation in 7th grade 😂✏️
