Has anyone seen the tooth fairy movie? My kids absolutely love it, I think it’s pretty hilarious too. Though I don’t imagine the tooth fairy as a muscular male hockey player, there’s something about the whimsy and mystery of the tooth fairy. Falling fast asleep, anticipating the unknown exchange of your tooth for a coin or even a dollar! I know as a little girl I could not wait to go to bed those nights. Kai is no different, and I love seeing that childhood glimmer inside him. So making these moments magical are important and finding the right tooth fairy ideas too.
When Kai lost his first tooth, well actually he broke it in half… we celebrated with a tooth fairy bag! I wanted to make sure he knew how cool the tooth fairy was. But, keeping up with a bag of goodies was a bit ambitious on my end. So thankfully we found an incredible company that could help busy moms just like me!
But I didn’t want the magic to end yet…
Yes, in all of my crazy mom ideas Kai doesn’t have to miss on the mystery of the tooth fairy. I recently got to connect with a company that encourages the sense of wonder. Hold the Magic is in the business of keeping the magic of the tooth fairy a part of childhood. Sometimes in the busyness of parenting or even the accessibility our kids have to everything we miss the magical moments.
Hold the Magic was founded by a mom of 2 little ones, we think that now, more than ever, it’s important to give your kids something to believe in and help them hold onto that fleeting magic. The company creates tooth fairy kits for busy parents, to help hold the magic, just a little bit longer. Our kits come in packs of three (one per tooth). Wrapped up in a special golden gift bag, our tiny treasures from Fairyland (tooth fairy-sized, of course!), with a sweet little note from the fairy, are the perfect way to start a new tooth fairy tradition.
There are multiple kits you can purchase that will suit your child’s interest. Each kit is just $29.95. We received their Adventure Kit, which is perfect for Kai!
Sprinkle the fairy dust!
Friday night I crept into Kai’s room and left the first golden bag. The next morning he immediately ran into our room exclaiming that the tooth fairy dropped off something for him. I didn’t capture it on my phone, because I wanted him to enjoy the moment. As we read the tiny letter and discovered the scuba diving helmet, Kai was even more enamored with the idea than ever before. This was better than money, it was a moment. I’m so grateful that we could give that to him.
I will note that the tooth fairy items are super cute and bite sized! So if you have smaller little ones in your home, find a special place to display each gift. We will be placing ours on a shelf in their room. I’m always on the look out for anything that could end up in the hands of our two younger boys, so be mindful mamas.
But look at that face! Kai ran around all weekend sharing his gift with friends and family. He couldn’t talk enough about the note he received and all of the glittery gold that everything came in. I honestly can’t wait for the next visit from the tooth fairy. I know the next magical moment will be just as great as this one!

I don’t have kids, but loved writing about the experience you had with yours. Witnessing curiousity and absolute wonder is one of the things I look forward to seeing in the future myself. Wish you all the best with keeping the magic alive.
