It’s been some time since I’ve thrown Kai a party, but he’s growing up. We thought of doing a bounce house and our usual potluck, but Mike mentioned Chuck E Cheese. I was reluctant at first, but I’m telling you it was worth it. We didn’t tell the boys where the party was happening until we arrived, which was even better! Kai was extremely surprised.
So if you’re wondering what to do for your next kids birthday party, check out why I think Chuck E Cheese should be an option!
- Budget Friendly – I’m sure you’re thinking I’m pulling your leg on this one, but I promise I’m not. Let me further explain, if you’re like me you do your best to price out a party. We’ve spent easily between $200-$300. Thats including decor, goodie bags, and yep food. We spent just about that much if not less for our party that included 11 kids! They all had 2 slices of pizza, 45 minutes of play time, and I provided goodie bags that cost maybe $15 total to make.
- Easy set up & tear down – As great as party planning and hosting is, I could do without the clean up. In fact our friends and family are so kind, they usually stay and help. However, this time we didn’t have to do much! Our table was set when we arrived and all I did was place the goodie bags by the plates! Major plus we didn’t need to clean up.
- It’s a TON of FUN – Our kids already love Chuck E Cheese, so to have 2 hours with friends was well worth it. The party allowed enough time for the kids to be free, win tickets, and have a blast. PLUS, Kai got to go into the ticket blaster which made everything worth it.
Look at that face and huge bag full of tickets! I would totally do a party here again. I’m so glad we were able to quickly book our party and save some money in the long run!
